Mmh, mmh, yum. Air frying chicken wings with a bit of BBQ sauce brushed on: super delicious, so quick and easy. The most laborious job will be to clean the fryer afterwards. Not yet, I'm waiting for the second batch to get done.
200° C for 18 mins, turn over midway.

Scientists from the University of Birmingham and the Max Planck Institute for Chemistry conducted a study comparing indoor pollution levels when cooking with different methods.

They found that air frying produces significantly less particulate matter and volatile organic compounds than oil-based cooking methods.

They also emphasized the importance of proper kitchen ventilation.

ScienceAlert · Scientists Reveal a Very Compelling Reason to Use Your Air FryerStir frying, deep fat frying, boiling, and pan frying food are all far more likely to pollute your home's indoors than the relative newcomer to the modern kitchen, the benchtop air fryer oven.

We all know by now that an "air fryer" is a small fan oven that eats lots of your kitchen workspace but does at least make chips quickly. On the other hand they're pretty useless at making any other kind of food, especially for more than one serving at a time.

Fear not, the Marketing Wankers at Ninja have come up with an appliance that eats ALL of your kitchen workspace and looks just like an oven, in fact, wait, it IS an oven, FFS.

Deze moet je ook echt eens proberen. Snij 4 kippendijen in blokjes. (Denk borrelhapje/cocktailprikker). Meng 3 el Thaise rode currypasta met 5 el kokoscrème en wat pezo. Kip erdoor en afgedekt 24 uur in de koelkast. Lekker vooraf maken dus.

I'm quite pleased with this. It's made with rice flour (so #GlutenFree).

200g rice flour
15g (or so) psyllium husk
¾ tsp xantham gum
1 tbsp quick yeast
1 tsp baking powder
2 tbsp brown sugar
½ tsp salt
I also threw in some multi seed mix (20g or so)

2 eggs
350ml warm water
35 ml sunflower oil

Mix dry ingredients. Add in wet, put in 20cm greased tin in air fryer, leave for at least 30 mins to rise.

Sprinkle with poppy seeds

Bake:
10mins@120⁰C
25mins@160⁰C

Airfryer Tip

Take out the tray of your air fryer and trace it's shape on a piece of paper. Cut it out, and label what it's for (so you don't accidental throw it away.) Fold it up and store in your purse.
When you're at the store trying to decide if a baking dish, whole chicken, big steak, or frozen pizza will fit inside your air fryer, just pull out your template and check.
This has saved me from buying the wrong whatever multiple times.

Which: "Why is my air fryer spying on me?"

"...In the air fryer category, as well as knowing customers’ precise location, all three products wanted permission to record audio on the user’s phone, for no specified reason. The Xiaomi app linked to its air fryer connected to trackers from Facebook, Pangle (the ad network of TikTok for Business), and Chinese tech giant Tencent (depending on the location of the user). The Aigostar air fryer wanted to know gender and date of birth when setting up an owner account...."
