AI leadership is no longer a luxury- it’s a necessity.

"The Chief AI Officer’s Handbook" is a powerful guide for CAIOs and business leaders to master AI strategy, drive innovation, and lead ethical, high-impact transformations.

From designing agentic systems to building high-performing teams and navigating compliance, this book delivers practical tools to turn AI into a competitive edge.

I know I could be so much better and faster—probably increase my productivity tenfold... if I had access to a powerful desktop! Honestly, I really need to save about $20k to get the perfect high-end tower for my agentic AI projects. Once I have that, nothing will hold me back. My phone will be blowing up with messages, and you know what I’ll say? THANKS, BUT NO THANKS! 😄

Useful piece from Maxwell Zeff and Kyle Wiggers for TechCrunch around #AgenticAI and what it really means - the fuzziness of the concept works to paper over uncomfortable questions - like who are the agents really working for?

TechCrunch · No one knows what the hell an AI agent is | TechCrunchAI agents are all the rage. But no one knows exactly what an agent is, partly because companies define them radically differently.

What is an agent?
That’s what Day 3 of Kaggle’s Gen AI Challenge is all about.

:blobcoffee: An agent is a system that observes its environment, plans actions, uses tools like APIs, functions, or data stores, and acts autonomously to achieve a goal – often over multiple steps (see whitepaper from Google below).

The cognitive architecture of an agent consists of three essential components:
🧠 a model (like a language model),
🔧 tools (like APIs or functions), and
🎯 an orchestration layer that coordinates reasoning and action.

You can build such agents using tools like LangChain and LangGraph.
