This requires <a href="https://mstdn.ca/tags/Adobe" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#Adobe</a> <a href="https://mstdn.ca/tags/Acrobat" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#Acrobat</a>, which is only available on Windows. While we can run Windows in VirtualBox on Linux, as far as I'm aware there's no PDF software natively available im Linux that can replace the Windows version of Acrobat.Maybe I have a knowledge gap (who doesn't!). Can anyone suggest a solution?

Einzig das Signieren eines Arbeitergeberdokuments hatte letztes Mal nicht so gut geklappt, da das eingefügte Bild völlig off war. In the procrss of freeing myself from Adobe monopoly, I’m looking for alternatives to the softwares I use the most. I’ve tried <a href="https://mastodon.social/tags/PDFgear" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#PDFgear</a> and <a href="https://mastodon.social/tags/PDFexpert" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#PDFexpert</a> but none of them have the option to create and edit forms - they only offer the option to fill them. A nice to have would also be the possibility to set a specific initial view. Are you aware of any software doing so, out there?

FeralRobotsRight now the only way I've figured out how to turn off reflow in <a href="https://mastodon.social/tags/acrobat" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#acrobat</a> is to delete/rename the entire Acrobat DC subtree in Regedit - which among other things means reverting to "New Acrobat", which is supposed to make our work go faster by...eliminating access to 70% of features?! I have to use this product for at least another 4 years & they'll probably turn off the ability to "disable New Acrobat" in that time frame, but hopefully by then someone will have been shamed into fixing it.
