The town next to Monterey is doing a festival called Good Ol’ Days. I wonder if those good old days include the days when they burned down the Chinese villages to take over the fishing business; or the good old days when white people dressed up as Chinese people.. that only ended.. in 2022

But Nguyen is an incredible woman and does not deserve to be lumped in with the uber-rich, even if I'd rather she hadn't participated in this thing - it was her choice and I'm glad she's free to make it.
