It appears reinforcements have arrived
One thing about working the late shift and getting home at 1am.. when you get home and you realize you're out of something, there's no quik trip to the store.. you are just out of something.
Several months ago I got myself a treamill for under my (standing)desk.
Averaging 3,5 hours a day on the treadmill these days during an average working day.
Main thing I have noticed: I get restless when in an office where I cannot walk during the day. Feeling more energetic and way less tired (also mentally) at the end of the day.
Bout to go down at the corner store..

Do you recognise this??
The discussion in a team on who has to do a specific task takes more time than just doing the task…
Rewards at work based in the form of lunch parties from corporate chain restaurants is not really a reward. I'm grateful for free lunch, don't get me wrong. But I'd rather take an hour of PTO if we had the luxury of choice.
TFW your company asks for ideas on how to sell more crap and you let them have both barrels on their loyalty program.. from your alternate email.. lol
Sometimes it just feels good to vent
MMMMMMONDAY
1 - Co-worker came hobbling in on crutches... maybe stay home?
2 - In last 24hrs, I got 16 emails from Indeed. 16... I want notifications on new jobs but 16? Bruh...
3 - The office heating was shut off over the weekend (it was hot Friday) so now we're sitting here at 66F (18C), it's usually set to 72F-73F and it's 32F (0c) outside right now.
I am both curious and fearful of this button I've never been trained on..
Slept like crap, got called in early.. it's a pink floyd on the bt speaker day.
The Wall will do to start
Today I saw two offices offering the same service.
One looked straight out of 1998: paper slips, folders, a pen tied with a string.
The other looked like it could print your passport in 2 minutes.
Which one is more efficient?
Which one makes you fill out three forms just to get an appointment?
And if you were offered a job at either one, everything else being equal…
Twice now at work I've cleaned an area and come back after a few days off and it's wrecked again.
I'm pretty sure the manager is the culprit. Love her to bits but I think she may be a little..umm.. clutter bug.. there that's the good way to say that LOL
Into each life, a little work must fall... grumble grumble..
Coworker: “Got a minute?”
Me: “Technically, yes. Emotionally, no.”
Pranked my office coworkers with this little gem this morning! First in-person April 1st in 4-5 years
Hhhmmm... Its interesting seeing how as people run out of time at work but expectations don't shift more and more labor gets spent managing projects/expectations as opposed to being productive.
