Pal licho jedną ważną wtyczkę, która mi na ubuntu nie działa, poradzę sobie jakoś. Zainstalowałem ubuntu studio, wszystko jest OK, tyle że... system zniknął z biosu jako opcja bootu (nie ma żadnej). Po uruchomieniu laptopa odpala się panel biosu, tam mogę sobie doklikać na nowo grub ubuntu jako opcję bootowania i zrobić "boot override", system się uruchamia, wszystko działa, tylko przy kolejnym uruchomieniu zabawa od nowa - bios nie zapamiętuje tego ustawienia. Bateria biosu (o ile jest w tym laptopie, bo tu opinie w internetach są podzielone) zdaje się być ok, bo czas trzyma dobrze. Pacjent: Asus UX360, secure boot wyłączony, rzecz się dzieje niezależnie od jakichkolwiek innych ustawień w biosie.

Charles BrowningOkay, <a href="https://mastodon.social/tags/Linux" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#Linux</a> nerds, I have a problem: I'm running <a href="https://mastodon.social/tags/Ubuntu" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#Ubuntu</a> 24.04.2 LTS on a 2012 MacBook Pro unibody and for whatever reason the right arrow key stopped working. It works when I plug in a USB keyboard, but not with the built-in keyboard. I've reset the SMC and NVRAM of the MacBook, but nothing fixes it. I've popped the key off and don't see any debris. I've even opened the machine and disconnected/reconnected the keyboard's ribbon cable.
