Another local beauty, this time the #Brick #Gothic castle #church of #Wolmirstedt, built in 1480. Apparently the most southern example of northern #BrickGothic, huh. It's all humble red bricks and a plain door, but when you look up - wow!

Here's a local one from a side entrance to the #Magdeburg Cathedral. It reminds me of the infamous matching Timberlake/Spears double-denim outfits

A close-up shot shows an arched doorway set into a weathered stone wall. The archway is constructed from large, roughly hewn grey stone blocks, showing signs of age and weathering. The keystone above the arch is adorned with a carved, slightly grotesque face.

Bin mir sicher, dass nicht nur Fenster sondern auch #Türen einen eigenen Tag in der Woche hatten und damit auch einen entsprechenden #Hashtag - er fällt mir allerdings nicht ein. #IHaveThisThingWithDoors scheint hier auch unbekannt zu sein.
