Paco HigónAged in 225-liter barrels from Taransaud & François Freres. The result is a red wine with a violet cherry color, a voluptuous nose with juicy fruit, purple flowers, and some black licorice, which somewhat reminded me of good Gamay from Beaujolais. On the palate, it has a good attack, runs smoothly, with well-distributed fruit weight, slightly earthy texture, very fine tannins, good freshness, crisp fruit, and notable length.
