Alex<p>Anyone here used tailscale? Wonder if it would work well for my RPi4 which is a generic pentesting device I keep around, but haven't done much with in ages. Mortimer<p>I love this simple SSH Proxy Jump:</p><p>ssh -J user@gateway user@target</p><p>For some reason my Raspberry Pi running ADSB Exchange won't autostart Tailscale after a reboot (I've tried everything), so when I'm away from home and discover that Tailscale is down on it I simply connect to my other Pi then proxy jump to the ADSBX machine and "sudo tailscale up". Try explaining to females why they need to click on “press if internet is not working” shortcut every few days…<br>Now I have several VPSs, 3 locations on dinamic IPs, bunch of phones, tablets and laptops on my tailnet. <br>And everything just works. </p><p>Wireguard is just a protocol.</p>

musicmatze :rust: :nixos:<p>I have a very weird issue with my <a href="https://social.linux.pizza/tags/tailscale" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>tailscale</span></a> + <a href="https://social.linux.pizza/tags/mumble" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>mumble</span></a> server setup:</p><p>I have a murmur (mumble) server that binds to the tailscale interface on my server.</p><p>I have shared that endpoint with a friend and we're both connecting via tailscale to that mumble server to talk.</p><p>Every few minutes (3, 5, something like that), one of us gets reconnected. Mumble (client) says "Server failed to respond to TCP ping". On the server it says (murmur log): "Connection closed: The remote host closed the connection".</p><p>The tailscale log on the server says something like "adding connection to derp-* for ..." at that very moment of reconnecting.</p><p>How to debug this issue? I don't even know where to start.
