2/25 My pangolin arrived in Denver. No payment request from System 76
2/27 I request payment info.
2/28 I received payment instructions and sent payment for diagnostics and shipping.
...Time passes
3/10 I contact System76 and ask where I am in the queue.
3/12 “ I am checking with my hardware team for an update”

And that’s it. No laptop. No word. I’ll update as the saga continues.

ha, typical. Somehow the new #System76 desktop environment #cosmicde just clicked in the past week, after on and off trying out it and window tiling and stacking. Now that I have a flow of managing my windows this way, today's Cosmic updates break the Workspaces part of the panel 😐

Does anyone have the same problem as I have on #COSMICdesktop?
I have Firefox windows on workspace 1,
I have a Virtmanager window on workspace 2,
I want a new window on an empty workspace 2 and the Virtmanager window on workspace 3,
so I open the workspace overview and move Virtmanager to workspace 3, I close the overview and workspace 2 is not empty anymore.

#System76's proposed solution: pinned workspaces, what do you think about those?

I've had so many #USBC ports crap out on me. My phone, kid's tablet, kid's laptop, school chromebooks. I'm still using my phone thanks to wireless charging. Amazingly, the kid's laptop is a few years old Lenovo laptop which also has a barrel connector power port (even though it shipped with a USB-C power supply), so I ordered a replacement barrel connector power supply.

No problems with my #System76 laptop, but that came with a barrel charger because someone at that company knows what's up.
