After about a month of work and testing since my talk at #SCALE22x I'm happy to announce some new updates to project #nixbook !

Big code cleanup, organization, much better systemd job stability for missed jobs, less resources usage on automatic updates, and simple notifications to the user when OS updates have started (and when they end)

If your not familiar, Nixbook is aimed to be the perfect windows / Chromebook replacement for basic users, built on #NixOS

My #qbsh talk also had a number of easter eggs in it that were easy to miss with the lightning talk format. For example, the slides were all numbered in tens:

Heck yes! #qbsh just got a pull request by someone saying they saw my talk at #SCaLE22x! That really made my morning. QBSH is now a little better because of it! The #opensource community is truly amazing!

I showed my kids the #qbsh talk from #upscale on the TV and now my daughter is shouting, "My daddy's famous!"

That's a wrap for #SCaLE22x! It was great to see so many familiar faces and have so many great conversations about #Fedora, #Kubernetes, #DevOps, #Nextcloud, #podman, #QBASIC, and other #Linux adventures!

Aw man, following live-tooted conferences gives me a delicious fraction of the joy of being at a conference and I'm just living for it right now. I'm trawling through all the rest of everything tagged with #scale22x and vicariously sad that it appears to be the end of the last day.

Last talk of #scale22x is the closing keynote with Leslie Lamport, entitled "Coding Isn't Programming!" This one's gonna be a ride, I'm sure!

Caught Denver's #SCaLE22x keynote regarding the #OpenWrtOne and ended up ordering one after getting my hands on the ones at the @conservancy booth.

The aesthetics struck me as needing some tweaks to fit into my home, so I figure I can design #3DPrinting case/covers to fit it and help with its wider apeal.

Any places i should contact as I get going?

Last day of #scale22x! I'm going to a talk about open source stuff: "Make Your Open Source Story Work for You" by Krista Burdine. I think it's more focused on using OSS to advance your career instead of using OSS to advance your business interests? But I think it'll still be interesting.

Last California sunrise for me. Headed back to the rainy PacNW.

#SCALE22x has been everything I hoped for (and more). Thanks again for the best community on the planet.
