Projected videos at the exhibit commemorating Christo and Jeanne-Claude’s THE GATES (thanks to @Star12Mt for the recommendation). Brought back some memories! Also interesting to learn about the complicated decades-long approval process. I think it (luckily) turned out beautifully, but community boards weren’t necessarily wrong to resist the idea of millionaire artists turning already-beautiful public space into their personal gallery.
