In #Exeter gibt es eine "Straße", die an der engsten Stelle gerade mal 64 cm Abstand zwischen den Häusern hat. Laut Wikipedia macht das die Parliament Street aber nur zur zweitengsten #Straße der Welt. Die engste (offiziell) gibt es wohl in Reutlingen, aber da war ich noch nie. // In Exeter, you'll find #ParliamentStreet, where the distance between the buildings is just 2 ft 1 in at its narrowest. However, the narrowest "street" in the world (officially) is in Reutlingen, Germany, but I've never been.

The Walkway (2014);

This is one of the most problematic panoramas I've taken so far. Shot back in 2014 in the last week of the year, and this one here is a remake of that one using RAW instead of HDR (but honestly, I think I do prefer the HDR version for this one). Now, because of the location, and my life (back then), I had to shoot this at night (or to be specific, close to dawn) and I had to work urgently without being caught (by cops, security, etc, since everything here needs a permit). The issue here was that when I got back home and tried to stitch the panorama, I got a "pizza" - a term I use when the computer can't link the images for some reason and just stack them on top of each other somehow someway and blend them all; not a pleasant view.
So, I thought there must be something wrong, so I re-calibrated my panorama gear and checked the camera settings and everything else, and went back 2 days later around the same time and shot the panorama (a process that took about one hour or a bit more). Gone back home, and... (drums)... same results - a pizza.
Here, I realized it might be something about the place (the geometry, the colors, the space, anything) must be the culprit. So, at this point, not ready to go for a 3rd time, I've decided to work with what I've got and started linking images almost one by one, manually (I think the process took about 2 or 3 days). Maybe not absolutely perfect, as I had to fix some stitching issues later, but it was definitely rewarding. Many versions (projections) were made from the original before this one RAW version was made.
