Looking at your work, what I'm seeing is that the Liquidators intend to create Heaven and Hell. Heaven for themselves until famine strikes them, and Hell for the rest of us, enslaving us until we die, when we cease to be profitable to their Heaven.
But since this is the Government of Fools, everything is going to go wrong for them. And a general Hell will descend upon all us in a few months.
So make it. There is NOTHING stopping you but you.
I think a lot of us need a bit of optimism right now, especially if, like me, you keep getting sucked into the uspol disaster whirlpool, and getting demoralised by the state of thing.

When I was a teenager, there was a fool in my neighborhood who blocked every proposed improvement with an utterly stupid attitude. Well, this fool had his vote and three more delegated to him by lesser fools.
I certainly couldn't find an explanation for this. Now, if it's suicide... Damn, how difficult it is to love your neighbor!
