We have added about:
3,203 km of waterways and
904 km² of farmland areas
How does FAO use the #opendata we generated?
Check their updates from last week's #MappyHour https://youtu.be/yLqTjataZFY
HUGE thank you to our volunteers and top contributors! A record of 800+ tasks mapped in 2weeks

@stfn I'm not aware of anything available. Probably the best place for ideas is to look at Bexhill-OSM (https://bexhill-osm.org.uk/?t=none#13/50.8470/0.4675).
#OpenStreetMap contributor Will Philipps did have two sites very close to your outline - Evesham Mapped & OSM-Nottingham - but retired them a few years ago because of tech debt. They used Leaflet to display a range of historical maps, thematic geojson layers from #OpenStreetMap, and some #OpenData feeds. LUA transforms of #OpenStreetMap data useful too.

We just saw this paper by Néhémie Strupler that cites #opendata about surveys in #archaeology, including the "Pyla-Koutsopetria Archaeological Project I: Pedestrian Survey" that we published back in 2013.
It's a great example of reusing older data for new research!

“If data is the new currency, then #OpenData is the new communism.”
Now that both #MangroveReviews and #MapComplete support editing and deleting your reviews, I set about making some much-needed improvements.
My review of Agasi now also describes the ambience a little, and ends on a more positive note to accurately reflect my feelings.
My review of Manoj Nān Wālā also got some tweaks.
Both also got some new photographs on #WikimediaCommons and #Panoramax! Check out my recent uploads on Wikimedia Commons
I discovered that there is a slight caveat to how MapComplete handles edits of reviews, but I hope it will be fixed with time.
As always, I rely on the community’s donations to make ends meet. If you like my contributions, support me on Liberapay!
