Phil Haigh
Last night I completed the initial installation of the first of the two YD7432 reverser modules. It requires three fully isolated blocks to work at its best, and that was fairly easy to achieve, only needed to lift one piece of track to get this done. It didn’t work immediately; eventually I diagnosed the issue, the track in wires were the wrong way round. It might seem counterintuitive to think that something like this wouldn’t matter but the documentation implies that it might. It does.

I’ve not plugged in LocoNet yet, but I have checked the configuration and I get to number the three blocks in the configuration program. They currently have default values in the 700-750 range so at lunchtime I’ll dig out a LocoNet cable, plug it in, and Rin the JMRI LocoNet logger to check it works as expected.

#ModelRailway #OOGauge #Progress
