Is it just me, or is #SocialMedia as a concept broken? I know this is not true for everyone, but for basically everyone I know IRL social media is at best a mild #distraction. It's a tool for #dissociation, like TV was.

Only on top of that, it promotes #anxiety and #envy because it enables constant comparison to impossible standards in any part of life.

And on top of that it enables #manipulation of societies and #politics through automated flooding and gaming of the recommendation algorithms.

Gedanken: Lobbyorganisation und Medien

Heute habe ich auf SWR Aktuell schon zwei mal vom 'Lobbyverband Haus- und Grund' gehört, ja das wurde so genannt. Ich frage mich warum nicht im Öffentlich Rechtlichen Rundfunk entsprechende Verbände generell so benannt werden, besonders wenn kommerzielle Interessen dahinter stecken. Z. B. gerade beim Bund der Steuerzahler (der eben nicht den normalen Steuerzahler vertritt) aber auch vielen anderen wäre das äußerst angebracht.
