I just noticed the early version of the Forge exterior shows Bobbin walking on a lower ledge in the background, where you can't go in the published game.

Maybe Bobbin originally walked down the steps from the graveyard, across that ledge to the far right edge of the screen, then turned around and went down more steps to reach the path leading up to the drawbridge?

Plus, the distaff doesn't use the same font as the rest of the text. And the font used for the copyright notice is different again. (Check the lowercase A and F in each.) Three different font designs!

A close-up of the leaf appears at lower-right in the Object Window, with the label "leaf" appearing in a thin font, with a drop shadow going directly downward. The font on the musical scale has no drop shadow, and is not the same as that used in the GUI Object Window. The cursor is a pointer cursor, like in the final game, although screenshots made of later pre-release builds show a small crosshair cursor instead.

More early Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade pics from the same issue.

Notice the catacombs don't have a limited view yet, and feature a diagonal sprite for Indy AFAIK not used there in the final game.

Also check out Indy's dad's sprite with a different head, some sprite misalignment in the Zeppelin fistfighting, and a "Leave Biplane" verb for the biplane cockpit!

The screenshot shows the catacombs maze, but without the view limited to just Indy's sprite, so the whole background (or as much of it as can fit in 320x200 pixels) is on screen at once. Indy's sprite appears to be walking diagonally, an animation not used on this screen in the published game.
