I’m trying to check if an old phone running #LineageOS in the US is network locked. It currently doesn’t have a SIM card in it, but I could put in inactive SIM in it if that would help.
I tried several online IMEI checkers. Besides being covered in ads, none of them showed the lock status.
Suggestions? Thanks!

Asking for help: ear speaker malfunctions in LineageOS
#Fedihelp! I can't hear Signal voice notes using the ear speaker (holding the phone near my ear). Tested Fairphone Checkup tool (from F-Droid) with the same result.
I've just upgraded my Xiaomi Pocophone F1 (aka #PocoF1, codenamed #beryllium) to #LineageOS for microG 22.1 from an older version. Phoning works ok, though, so it's not a hardware issue.
Could it be some firmware mismatch? Weird thing is previous LOS4mG worked fine,

weird. Can not recall having such an issue. I update my phone when a new image is out. Have been doing so for years

Acompanho desde meados do ano 2020 o desenvolvimento do /e/os, uma ROM construída a partir do AOSP e do #lineageos . Actualmente uso um Murena Fairphone 4.

@inyanblood (2/...) but that was more insecure than #LineageOS, because I installed the Tor browser on it, but it didn't do much in the works of sandboxing my browser session, the websites' trackers just leaked through. (don't remember the concequences thereof).
I had Ubuntu Touch with a virtual machine on it, waydroid, which ran LineageOS so, I thought, I'll just install that instead. (2/2)
Von #lineageos.org täte ich mir auch die Unterstützung einfacherer günstigere Geräte wünschen. Ich selbst brauche ein Fotohandy sondern greife immer noch lieber zu meiner richtigen Kamera. Keines meiner letzten Geräte hat mehr als 120 Euro gekostet, nutze ich zum Telefonieren und als Hotspot für mein Tablet oder Linux-Notebook.

If you're wondering, my motivation is quite simple. I've really liked NFC payments for years, but it is no longer possible with an Android device that doesn't pass Google's check for Integrity API. I recently switched to #LineageOS on my main smartphone, so this was an easy way to resolve the issue.
