Many ingredients are already here: there is a vast array of open source #python libraries that cover every imaginable #algorithm, from classic statistics to #machinelearning. And python is already a first class citizen in linux.
At the other end are end-user apps like the file manager, #libreoffice, sophisticated editors like #kate etc. that are already mature.
What is missing the orchestration of services, API's, UI's etc. that will effortlessly bring these superpowers to the average user.

I wonder if you have thought of using #LibreOfficeKit as backend? A simple GTK4-based word processor on top of libreofficekit as backend would be great. A simple app that can display any #LibreOffice document with basic text-editing features. Together with a minimal clutter-free UI would be great. I'd use it everyday.

Attempted to profile #LibreOffice's sluggish/janky window resizing performance under Linux with #Sysprof, on Fedora 42 / GNOME 48, and I am not sure my test setup is entirely correct… because I somehow end up with Cairo everywhere instead of Skia, even if I tell the app to use Skia (anyone knows how to ensure it's actually using Skia in practice?): https://bugs.documentfoundation.org/show_bug.cgi?id=160015#c5

Libre soll soll eindeutig "frei" bedeuten.
Du kannst niemanden befreien, der gar nicht frei sein möchte. 
Du suchst aber auch irgendwie den Don Quixote-Weg, oder?
In Behörden ist seit jeher der einfachste Weg, einen Verwaltungsakt verfahrensrechtlich tot zu machen. Er ist am wenigsten arbeitsintensiv, effizient & effektiv.
