Moi : Bon ben apparemment j'ai pas les pilotes pour mon scanner Brother donc je dois bien installer le rpm fourni. Et puis le flatpak de GNOME Scanner détecte pas le scanner après l'avoir installé donc il faut bien que j'installe la version rpm.

Digamos que #Huawey se cansó de que le reventaran las pelotas y desde hace 5 años se pusieron a trabajar en un software propio, con su propio quernel y aparentemente como pasa con nuestro amado iOS, tiene HarmonyOS una arquitectura propia. así que sí, usaban Android y línux, pero ya no desde su versión"5 de su sistema operativo que salió lógicamente primero en China y a penas hace un par de meses.

A nice thing about #Manjaro is that it holds back updates for a week. I see Manjaro haters roll out this fact like it's a bad thing. Whatever. Here's the "fun" part of all this: I didn't need to do it. The problem isn't #Majaro, there's something wrong with #Arch mirrors and #keyservers. Huge swaths of the mirrors are inaccessible. Keyservers are also often unavailable. Why? Who the fuck knows. So, I have a tarted up Arch install that may or may not update correctly. Oh, and I installed KDE because connecting to a sever to download something else wasn't working at the time. That's my #Linux Spring Adventure. 4/4

Imagine Kdenlive getting NDI integration, where you can access video streams from NDI compatible device on the same network. Then, imagine Kdenlive having a dedicated record button where you can start recording (capture) the NDI video streams right into the Kdenlive timeline.
I soon remembered why I stopped using Ubuntu/Debian-based distros, the software in the repositories is ancient! There's stuff in there that was abandoned nearly 10 years ago. Also, they didn't have basic stuff, like the docklike plugin, or sticky notes for XFCE. My personal recommendation, don't use #Ubuntu distros. Or #Debian. You're going to get frustrated very quickly once you move from a newb to even somewhat familiar with #Linux. There's plenty of software that needs to be up-to-date. Some might feel compelled to chime in about #PPAs. No. Fuck that. PPAs suck. 2/4
