Bei "Schizoid Man" entstand der verzerrte Gesang durch Greg Lakes Stimme, die durch einen Gitarrenverstärker geleitet wurde. Mit seiner Fusion aus Jazz, Klassik und Rock gilt das Album als Meilenstein des #ProgressiveRock.

Said by some to have begun the prog rock phenomenon (although Pink Floyd and The Nice might have something to say about that), this is certainly one of the most influential albums of that genre. The first track, 21st Century Schizoid Man (which surely influenced Black Sabbath) was sampled by Kanye West in the track Power.

Starless and Bible Black - King Crimson

My original copy of this album went missing when I moved house a couple of years ago, so I'm pleased to have been able to replace it at a reasonable price.
A true prog rock album, much of the content was taken from live improvised performances.
