Dry Fall
Water carved a slit canyon into a hot and dry desert landscape. The landscape changes on an inhuman time scale. #ThrowbackThursday to a hike in the Coyote Mountains Wilderness in April 2020.

An image I made of my favorite waterfall in the San Juan Mountains from June 2024 for this #WaterfallWednesday.
Just thinking of the coming fall colors and autumnal light makes me feel a little overstimulated. I look forward to discovering new scenes like this one I photographed late last October along the river.
Textured Colors (or Colored Textures?) at the Artist's Palette, Death Valley National Park, California.
My late contribution to #ForestFriday comes from the riparian woodlands in Southern California, from a summer walk at Los Peñasquitos Canyon a few years back. With such strong backlight it's best to simply embrace the overexposed areas than trying to fight them. :)

"Trees on Ledge" for #TreeTuesday
This is Half Dome's northwest face, seen from North Dome in Yosemite National Park, California.

Delicate plants like Western Sword Fern (Polystichum munitum) and Solomon's Plume (Maianthemum dilatatum) grow directly at the foot of majestic, giant old redwood trees. Jedediah Smith Redwoods State Park, California; May 2025.

A photograph from a walk in the woods today. I was drawn to the light making the two flowers almost glow against the shaded background. Back then I didn't notice the little grasshopper perched on top of the right flower.
For #WaterfallWednesday a detail of "Salt de Martís", a seasonal waterfall that stays dry most of the year.

Saw #Dune , found one in my dreams as well. Golden hour photography right here, next to some ginormous windmills, but that is not a part of the picture. They are too small, you can't see them!
#norway coast, last year.

"Winds"
This picture could be about farting, but it isn't.
I took it in October, right. In Lianvannet. I mean the picture was in Lianvannet, I was on the shore.
I am a dad, I can write stupid jokes
Web of Leaves.
Taken on a rainy Saturday morning a few weeks ago.
Leafy.
I hope this displays all neat and nice on Mastodon, but who knows!
Anyway, I noted this one when patrolling the area of local forest with baby stroller in August. In September, when leaves got colour I once again, with baby stroller came back. Did you know that babies often wake up because og camera shutter noises?
