A storm went through but thankfully it wasn't severe where I live in GA. I'm happy the heavy rain washed a lot of pollen away (for now). Kengo's colors look good in the wet background.

Chaotic patterns

(Shot from Saturday) I tried my best but nothing grabbed me in the short time today. And quite honestly…. I like this shot here too much not to post it.

Photo einer Fassade hinter einer Baustellenabsperrung. Die Fassade befindet sich offensichtlich im Bau. Teile wurden mit roten Steinen andere mit weißen neu gemauert. Überhängend sieht man einen Teil der alten Fassade. Nackter grauer Beton mit vertikaler Struktur.

Durch die unterschiedlichen Materialien und Formen entsteht optisch eine Art Flickenteppich.

Photography is a game of patience, light, and synchronization.

While walking around the neighborhood I noticed this passage with the light shadow on it. I thought that it would be a good photo if there was someone passing by. However, the passage is in a very quiet street. So I needed to wait for the perfect moment, when someone passed, and that the sun was still casting shadows. I was lucky that it happened.

“Kaleidoscope House”

In its heyday, mosaic stained glass was a common architectural feature of Tbilisi. Sadly most examples have been lost to time – but there are a few buildings that still boast gorgeous rainbow windows.

One of Tbilisi’s most recognisable landmarks, the “Kaleidoscope House” has large multi-coloured glass windows on all three sides of its front stairway. When the afternoon sun hits at just the right angle, it paints a colourful pattern onto the stairs and wooden balustrades.
