So ... 4,3 GB Daten auf meine eigenen Server übertragen und das 100GB-Abo gekündigt. Tut irgendwie gut das Großreinemachen und sich von US-amerikanischen Diensten privat zu befreien ... im Mai läuft nun mein privater Micro$oft-Office-Vertrag aus ... habe ja seit einigen Jahren eine feine private #nextcloud - Instanz. Schöner Nebeneffekt, man spart wirklich auch viel Geld damit und kann dieses reinvestieren um seine digitale Selbstbestimmung weiter zu fördern. Nächste Ausfahrt ... den Apfel aus meinem privaten Leben entfernen ... sowohl hardware- als aus softwareseitig. #MediaCenterKodi #linux

So, I got a new phone.

I transferred over from the old phone, and did a factory reset so I could give my partner a new old phone. Now I can't access Outlook for work, because the Authenticator app wasn't set up for backup, because why even would it be?

@ppatel the solution is easy. don't dual boot with Windows. use Linux.

I know, "I use xyz software". Are you still seriously supporting Microsoft? I mean, they are clearly acting in bad faith here, and are actively attacking users who are attempting to move away from their products.

The one thing not said here though, Microsoft is obviously scared of the recent upward trend of Linux desktops. Scared enough to break the millions of systems of users attempting to switch.

What radicalized me to install #Linux?
I turned on my computer from off and I was greeted with a page that said “Finish Setting Up Your Computer?” (even though I’ve owned this PC for 10 years) for which I had the option to snooze the wizard for 3 days or continue through it now.

It was 3 pages of nothing but ads telling me to subscribe to #Onedrive and #PCGamePass and to install a Microsoft app on my phone. #Windows11 is trying to steal the hardware that I own. This OS is gone.
