Asking for help: ear speaker malfunctions in LineageOS
#Fedihelp! I can't hear Signal voice notes using the ear speaker (holding the phone near my ear). Tested Fairphone Checkup tool (from F-Droid) with the same result.
I've just upgraded my Xiaomi Pocophone F1 (aka #PocoF1, codenamed #beryllium) to #LineageOS for microG 22.1 from an older version. Phoning works ok, though, so it's not a hardware issue.
Could it be some firmware mismatch? Weird thing is previous LOS4mG worked fine, 
i am planning to give an assignment to my master class, letting them participate in editing (english) wikipedia. i want them to feel like they contribute in a meaningful way, but also need a low bar for them to enter, to feel motivated to continue. (for myself it will be the first time to contribute as well.) is there a good tutorial, any hints, areas to focus on? the class is on visual culture, so something there would work great. boosts welcome. :)
Question for #FediHelp If I have an account bridged to bsky and I migrate instance does the bridged account change, or does @bsky.brid.gy create a new account on bsky?
For anyone on mastodon.social, be aware that mutuals are currently showing as followed only, this is on the hover over cards, the "following" list on your profile, and on the mutuals profile pages. None are shown as mutuals. As far as I can tell, the only place it shows the correct information is on the "Follows and followers" section of your "edit profile" section. This may cause problems. Hey Fedi, I need your help finding a comic character. It's a little girl, drawn probably in black and white, and has probably been around since long before the 90s. She's really small, looks about as wide as she is tall, and has dark hair that maybe also covers her eyes, I'm not sure. And I think she's kind of a tomboy.
She's somewhat similar to Nancy, Lucy from the Peanuts, or Susie Derkins (all three pictured here), but she's neither of them.
Any ideas?

Ich hab das von f-droid für android installiert, also die Plus Version.
Ich würde gerne ein Osmand Cloud backup machen um die Routen auch am PC bearbeiten zu können.
Solange die app frisch installiert ist, funktioniert die Synchronisierung, sobald ich in der app Routen und Punkte erstellt habe startet sync kurz und es kommt die Fehlermeldung "abgelaufenes Abonnement"

Consequently her landlord served her an eviction notice, and her beautiful dog Pippa was put into foster care.

Was recently configuring two servers (#almalinux and #ubuntu) and found that some packages would require to use their "community" packages, with some features not fully implemented.
I miss the quick, clean and easy way of defining install instructions of #pkgbuild of #archlinux
I ended up transforming ArchLinux #aur packages to scripts, and running them on both servers 
Is there a tool that can read an AUR package and "just install" it on a server, not Arch based?

I'm trying to get the SPDIF input to work.
So the RME card is clock master, distributing clock via Word Clock. It is hooked up via 3x ADAT I/O + Word Clock to a #Yamaha #01v96i.
Now I connected the SPDIF output of the 01V96i via a proper cable directly to the SPDIF input of the RME card (on its breakout cable). In theory, SPDIF signal should now appear on channels 25 and 26. But nothing ever happens. (Input channels 1-24 work without any issue via ADAT.)
Any ideas?
Perhaps @PaulDavisTheFirst remembers something about this very old card, is there something peculiar?
I notice the PSDIF sample rate sliders in #alsamixer which I can't move.

Or is my card broken even? I checked the output of the console with a Behringer SRC2496, it delivers correctly.

Ihr wisst doch immer alles. Ich brauche einen Trafo für LED Lampen für draußen mit 10W. Der muss aber einen bestimmten Anschluss (siehe Fotos) haben. Mein jetziger hat den Geist aufgegeben, weil er nur für für 5W geeignet war. Weiß jemand wo ich so ein Teil finde. Habe schon einmal einen falschen bestellt, weil die Anschlüsse zwar alle ähnlich aussehen, aber doch unterschiedlich sind. Was könnte ich sonst noch machen?
