Spent most of the evening reviewing talk suggestions for #Europython. This is pretty hard - because a review decision really effects people.
I'm doing this for the first time. On average it takes me 20 minutes per review.
Half of it is research. To check if the topic has relevance and if Europython or other PyCons have already covered it.
If everybody else takes as long as me and if every CfP is reviewed by 2 people, in total that's 16 days of volunteer time just to make this decision...

I've been sick all week, so let's listen to @europython 2024 security talks together! 
So far it looks like I did make it through #EuroPython without getting a blind passenger on board. No COVID symptoms and negative self tests. Let's hope it stays this way

It's a wrap! What an incredible experience has this year's @europython been! So many interesting talks and so many opportunities to network and socialize. (being shy, I didn't utilise this to 100%

After accidentally DDOSing piwheels for years with every @octoprint update*, today I was able to apologize to @bennuttall in person at #EuroPython! Great success! 
* It turns out that when you push out a new release of your software and as a consequence thousands of Raspberry Pis out there pull in new dependencies, at a certain project size the traffic will cause mysterious spikes in piwheels' logs that take a while to figure out the cause for
