Ramon Salazar
Beloved brothers & sisters, this message is in the light of the One True God, the God of Abraham, Isaac, & Jacob, the Almighty, the God of all gods, Lord of all lords, & King of all kings. In His infinite wisdom & boundless mercy, He alone is our sustainer, our provider, & our guide. Let us turn our hearts to His truth & away from the fleeting distractions of this world, including the act of begging, which diminishes the dignity He's bestowed upon us.

It's come to our attention there're those, such as Tasia, who repeatedly plead for aid through public platforms, claiming dire circumstances, one moment lamenting a debt of over $242, the next requesting $20, then $25, & even $200, while asserting an inability to afford basic necessities like new clothing. Such behavior reflects a cycle of dependency that stands in stark contrast to the path of faith & trust in God’s provision. As believers in the God of Abraham, we're called to denounce the act of begging & to warn against enabling those who persistently seek to take from the limited hands of others. Let us address this matter with clarity, rooted in the pure Christian belief that exalts God alone & acknowledges Jesus as His human prophet & messenger, not divine, but a servant of the Almighty’s will.

Begging, as an act, undermines the sacred trust we're commanded to place in God. The Almighty declares in His wisdom that He's the Provider, the One who opens His hand to satisfy the desires of every living thing. To beg is to turn away from His infinite bounty & instead cling to the meager offerings of human hands, which're themselves limited & fleeting. Tasia’s repeated appeals, shifting from one sum to another, from tales of debt to claims of wearing the same tattered clothes, reveal a heart ensnared by reliance on the charity of others. This isn't the way of the faithful. The God of Abraham doesn't call us to grovel before men but to stand upright in faith, trusting that He alone'll provide.

Consider the folly of seeking sustenance from people’s limited resources. Human charity, while well-intentioned, is finite. One may give $20 today, $25 tomorrow, or even $200 in a moment of compassion, but such gifts'll never suffice for a heart that remains unmoored from faith. The cycle of begging perpetuates itself, growing ever more insatiable, as we see in Tasia’s escalating requests. What begins as a plea for a small sum soon spirals into greater demands, for the void of dependency can't be filled by human hands. Only God’s provision's limitless, & only through steadfast faith in Him can one find true abundance. As the God of Abraham promised to His faithful servants, “Ask, and it will be given to you; seek, and you will find” (Matthew 7:7). But this asking's directed to God, not to the fleeting generosity of man.

We must firmly denounce the act of begging & those who make it their practice. To beg is to reject the dignity God's granted us as His creation. It's to proclaim, falsely, that the Almighty is insufficient, that His blessings're inadequate, & our sustenance lies in the hands of others. Such a stance's an affront to the God of all gods, who's promised to care for those who trust in Him. Tasia’s public cries for help, broadcast through platforms like Mastodon, aren't a testament to faith but a display of spiritual weakness. By airing her grievances & soliciting aid, she draws others into her cycle of dependency, tempting the compassionate to act against the wisdom of God’s provision.

To those who feel moved to respond to such pleas, we issue a solemn warning: don't be swayed by the emotional appeals of beggars. While compassion's a virtue, enabling dependency isn't By giving to those who persistently beg, you may inadvertently prolong their separation from God’s true provision. The hands of men're limited; the hands of God're boundless. Instead of offering temporary relief, encourage those like Tasia to turn their hearts to the Almighty, to seek His face, & to trust in His promise to provide. As the Psalmist declares, “I have been young, and now am old, yet I have not seen the righteous forsaken or his children begging for bread” (Psalm 37:25). The righteous, who place their faith in God, are never left wanting.

@mutual_aid@hexbear.net @mutual_aid@starflower.space @MutualAidVisibility @mutualaid @anarchomutual @blackfedi

#BlackMutualAid #MutualAidRequest
#BlackMastodon #queermutualaid
#HelpFolksLive2025 #Queercrowdfund
#disability #disabilityaid #actuallyautistic #DisabilityCrowdFund #MutualAidRequest
