I am using #gnome48 with #wayland on #manjaro #linux (kernel 6.14) and have the problem that in #bitwigstudio (#flatpak) to rename a Cue Marker, it takes two clicks on the respective Cue Marker to accept keyboard input for renaming.
Bitwig support says this does not happen on their officially supported platform, Ubuntu. What could possibly be causing this?

Today, after almost 11 years, I deleted my #bitwigstudio #configuration from both my workstation #pc and my #laptop, which I had maintained from version to version for all these years, just to start from scratch.
I went through settings, mappings, templates, presets, collections etc. and configured everything as if I was doing it for the first time. Almost like tearing down and #rebuilding, #rewiring the #studio.

I am currently testing some amazing #compressor, #amp simulation, and #eq #plugin (s) by a renowned vendor that previously did not support #linux.
It honestly feels unreal to me to have those outstanding plugins run perfectly smooth and natively within #bitwigstudio on #linuxaudio.
I expect an announcement within a couple of weeks, as the beta testing is still ongoing and minor bugs are fixed.
I am super excited about another vendor supporting this great platform for #musicproduction.

Yesterday, I had my first #crash in #bitwigstudio on #linuxaudio in the 5 years I've been using #linux exclusively for #musicproduction. And I think it was a special one. Because, while the audio playback continued, I was thrown to #gdm login.
I'm posting this because I thought it was funny. Because, other than that, my #manjaro #gnome system is #rocksolid.

PSA Bitwig using friends:

If you have a massive sample folder like me (330 GB). Don’t try to integrate it with Bitwig’s browser. Use a sample manager like ADSR, or Sononym instead, otherwise Bitwig’s internal browser will become incredibly slow.

Can other #bitwigstudio #linux users confirm that the scroll wheel on a standard mouse only works up/down but not (with shift left/right)? Two-finger scrolling on a touchpad also only works up/down for me.
When I reported this issue back in 2019, the Bitwig Studio team told me that everything works as intended on Ubuntu and that my choice of distribution must be the cause of the problem.
I use Manjaro, by the way.
... with Wayland, but it does not work for me on X either.
