Zeit für mein tägliches #Amselupdate …

Heute nur eins, und etwas später als sonst - hab heute fast den ganzen Tag mit der Süßen gechattet, und daneben noch versucht, Kamera und Fernbedienung zum laufen zu kriegen. Anscheinend hat eine Amsel die angeschleppten Würmer in meinem WLAN verstaut und nicht in den Küken.😢

Aber ich hab ein paar Bilder für euch, und evtl. später auch ein Video 😊

Das wichtigste ist Bild Nr. 3. Das erste Küken hat heute das Nest verlassen und einen kleinen Ausflug zum nächstgelegen Wassertümpel gemacht! Ok, der Wassertümpel ist eine Glasschale mit Wasser, die ich da mal hingestellt hatte, aber egal 😊

Sie werden ja soo schnell erwachsen, die süßen Kleinen 😍❤️

Rechts die Amselmama an Nest, zwei Kükenschnäbel sind zu sehen. In der Mitte ein Küken, dass das Nest verlassen hat und jetzt in der Glasschale mit Wasser hockt, die ich da mal hingestellt hatte.

Acadian Flycatcher

It’s been quite some time since I captured a photo of a bird that’s ‘new to me.’ This morning, however, an Acadian Flycatcher (Empidonax virescens) made an appearance while Charlie and I were sitting in the backyard. I see the occasional flycatcher, but this was my first encounter with an Acadian. These birds don’t come for birdseed; instead, they seem to be searching for something in the trees or maybe just curious about the gathering of birds nearby.

The photographs I share here aren't as vivid as those in my Pixel gallery. To ensure they load more quickly, I reduce their size and slightly lower their quality. Feel free to take a look!
