Blanket-bans SUCK.

Over and over, I hear voices who demand bans on #socialmedia access for people below a certain age or general bans of social media.

Please stop thinking you can just ban the problem away. Think for example about the people who use social media as a safe space... the LGBTQ+ #kids and teens in some conservative hinterland who use social media to be able to connect to other #queer kids, which is impossible to do safely in public.
There is an undeniable, overproportional impact on marginalized communities.
That's just one example.

To solve the (anti-)social media issue, we need #education and #moderation, not generalized #bans for a certain group.

Not only do they act like Nazis did but are uber-hypocrites.

As for their free speech, it often is merely varnished hate rhetoric.

It involves targeting individuals with relentless requests for evidence, more information, or explanations, even after explanations and information is provided. The troll tries to act polite to seem like the civil one, but it's a form of harassment. They keep it going until exhaustion.
