Another thing I need to mention about yesterday's protest in Wheeling, WV. At one point, a funeral procession rolled through with about a dozen cars. Everybody went completely silent. The bullhorns and the chanting stopped. Signs were lowered. Ball caps were removed. We shared a moment of silence, all without a single order to do so. It was a beautiful moment seeing so much dignity and respect coming from a group of people.

Hey @indivisibleteam (and @IndivisibleOttawa) and everyone else involved in the #HandsOff protests and #50501movement and solidarity protests around the world: Next time (soon), set up live video portals between protests, and especially between countries. Make it clear that it’s not the US vs the democratic world: it’s the free world, allied with the freedom-loving majority of the US populace, against the oligarchs and their fascist kleptocracy.

We found a video someone posted about the protest we went to yesterday! Of course our local red news stations didn't have much or anything to say about it but wow! I didn't realize how many folks showed up! The wrap around the intersection was a lot more than I could see.

This is on us, cis het white people, because we have the privilege of marching. We have to show up for all the people who would be immediately targeted at a protest.
