Hello there...every day that I use Mastodon, I like to list three things that I like as a contribution towards a positive online space, as well as my own headspace. If you did this today, what would feature on your list?

01. Had a lovely tofu curry with my mum and the rest of the family
02. watched the Minecraft film which was pure nonsense but all three of the kids that we brought had an absolute ball!
03. we have a hectic week but it seems under control and organised

Hope whoever reads this can have a nice day.

1) Spouse left her phone in an airport bathroom last night - and we got it back this morning!
2) Got a short run in before the text alerting me that the phone was still sitting in an airport bathroom.
3) Artist talk at #PhotoAlliance at #FortMason this evening. Great speakers, work I am still thinking about. (“Disturbing but beautiful” sounds cliché but this was successfully both.)

1. Dexter is very easy to give meds to. No fighting with him over the abx or the liver support supplement.

2. Remembered to start the dough for both the sourdoughs: bagels and sandwich loaf. Will be baking those up tomorrow morning.

3. I won yarn chicken (with some creative cheating) for the pink dress. Glad that is done, that was stressful.

Bonus: The cursed joggers are done and fit well.

#3GoodThings for today:

1. FIL, MIL, and two nieces came over to celebrate my birthday and took us out for a birthday dinner at a restaurant of my choice downtown.

2. Playing Mario Kart with the nieces and the spousal unit.

3. Still functioning well after a rough night with lots of anxiety, nightmares, and poor quality sleep.

Good night! #3GoodThings
1. Got the slow cooker chicken pot pie made today and it was delicious. And we have leftovers for the next few not so-warm days. 🙌🏻
2. Didn’t manage to exercise because of glucose levels again but still managed to close all my fitness rings today.
3. Started listening to the first Elm Creek Quilters novels, The Quilter’s Apprentice. I’ve listened to these books before but more books have been published so I decided to start at the beginning and read them all. 📚
Sleep well and may your dreams be out of this world. 🤗🫶❤️🫂 #GoodNight #AudioBooks #SlowCooker #Fitness

- Completed my 'dead hedge' and looking forward to seeing who/what might move in.

- Last day of 'ambulatory ECG', so I can take it a bit easier now (they wanted me to 'push it' so they could get good data)

- There are three segments of chocolate orange left to go with my nice malt whisky nightcap. Decadent, eh?

• 3 good things is one of my good things today, because it can knock me off a negative thought track, and is (usually) part of my evening routine these days.
• ordered a dining table big enough to seat four, but in my head it’s a puzzle table.
• Total commute time for today’s gig: 4 minutes. Walking. There and back.

So #3GoodThings over the past few days... Friday we had our Spring Covid booster jab, yes, the V word. Full slaves to the Gates Foundation, again. Apart from not using any MS sw, natch.

2) Mrs R found 2 old P&S film cameras, one had a film in (found by opening the back, not so good). Replaced the batteries, test film run, awaiting dev.

3) It has been sunny all last week and forecast sunny all next week. Most sensible folk think this is a Good Thing! (... though photoing is much harder... ;-)
